Swick Wines 'Only Zuul' Vin Gris Oregon, 2022 local lager with a traditional Sardinian fregulaThis lovely wine is made from equal parts Pinot Gris and Gewrztraminer. It has lovely floral aromatics, and flavors of blood orange, papaya, and grapefruit peel. Both grapes were macerated on their skins for 2 months before being aged in neutral French oak and concrete for 10 months. The color of the wine comes mostly from the Pinot Gris, which has reddish gray skins. Pair with fresh salads with citrus based vinaigrettes, or with poisses.
